Placing an order

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Browse Products:

• Visit our website iHeartDogs.com and browse through our wide range of products designed for dogs and dog lovers.
• Use the navigation menu or search bar to find specific items you're interested in.

2. Add Items to Cart:

• Once you've found a product you'd like to purchase, click on it to view details such as size, color, price, materials, etc.
• Select the quantity you wish to purchase and click on the "Add to Cart" button. Note: Some items have purchase quantity limits.
• You can continue shopping and adding more items to your cart or proceed to checkout when ready.

3. Review Your Cart:

• After adding all desired items, click on the shopping cart icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
• Review the items in your cart to ensure everything is correct. You can adjust quantities or remove items if needed.

4. Proceed to Checkout:

• Click on the "Checkout" button to begin the checkout process.

5. Checkout Page 1 - Information:

• If you're a returning customer with an existing iHeartDogs account, you may log into your account for a more convenient checkout experience.
  • Forgot your password? No worries! Use the "Log in Without Password" option. With this option, you will be emailed a login link to the email address associated with your account. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't appear in your regular inbox within 10 minutes. Once you've gained access to your account, you may reset your password to one you'll remember by going under the Account Details page.
• Returning customers and new customers without an account can continue as a guest or create an account. 
• Fill out the shipping address details. Ensure all required fields are completed accurately.

6. Checkout Page 2 -  Shipping:

• Select your preferred shipping method. Review shipping costs and estimated delivery times before proceeding.
• Note: Some items are ineligible for expedited shipping - if you have an ineligible item in cart, expedited shipping options will not be available to you. 

7. Checkout Page 3 - Payment:

• Choose your preferred payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
• Select from existing saved payment methods (if applicable) or manually enter your payment details securely. iHeartDogs uses industry-standard encryption to protect your information.
• Review your billing address details to ensure it matches with the payment method being used. You can select "same as shipping address" or select "use a different billing address" to update the billing address details. 

8. Place Order:

• Review your order summary to ensure all details are correct, including items, quantities, shipping address, and total cost.
• Applying Store Credits or Promo Codes: If you have a store credit or promotional code, select "Have a promo code? Click here.", enter the code in the designated box and click "Apply" to see your savings reflected in the order total. 
• Gifting Option: If the purchase is a gift order, you may check the "is this a gift?" box and create a gift note. The gift note will either be printed on the order packing slip or sent via email (confirmed at Checkout). 
• Once you're satisfied, click on the "Place Order" button to finalize your purchase.

9. Confirmation:

• After placing your order, you will reach an order confirmation page and receive an order confirmation email with details of your purchase and an order number.
• Keep this email for your records.
• You will also receive a confirmation email to track your order once it has shipped.

10. Track Your Order:

• You can track the status of your order by logging into your iHeartDogs account or using our Track Order Page.
